Overview of Stavehouse Roof Truss Raising

All truss assemblies are test fitted at Structurlam's manufacturing facility before packaging for shipment. All hardware is shipped with the timber, including hidden split rings, bolts, timber washers, Loon truss plates and Stavebolts, etc. All D. Fir glulam components arrive with a factory application of water based urethane sealant to provide protection from the elements. The sealant also gives the timber greater resistance to dirt and stain markings during handling and assembly.

All trusses are tied to the frame via 3/4" T-rod either rising from the Stavebolts in the tops of the wall posts or through the plate member.
